About

I originally got into 3D back in the 90’s when I was studying architecture. I was playing around with NURBS in Microstation (a competitor to AutoCAD) and animating surfaces in 3D Studio Max (as it was called then). This was the era of blobitecture. The web was becoming a thing back then which got me back into programming. I did a masters in creative technology where I created interactive installations using Direct3D and C++ but got a conventional developer job after I finished. I got back into 3D a few years ago when I discovered Grasshopper which is a plugin for Rhino that allows you to do visual programming. This led me to XR which I am now focused on and have decided to share my learnings by creating this blog.
